Ribana distinguishes herself as a typical Rotspon offspring through her amiability and rideability. She has finished the mare performance test in Freiburg/Elbe successfully. Ribana comes from a very successful motherline of the breeder Wolfgang Bollhorst. The granddam the state premium mare Honeymoon by Hohenstein and the great-granddam the state premium mare Weltdame by Weltmeyer were placed at the Ratje Niebuhr Show in 2000. In the year 2002 Honeymoon could repeat her success. Also the mare Dancing Quenn by Davignon - Weltmeyer comes from this motherline and was placed at the Ratje Niebuhr Show in 2000.

Several horses from the motherline were sold at the Verdener elite auction, e.g., London Dance by Londonderry, Hercules by Hohenstein, Romantica by Rubin Royal and also Wolkina (also called Wintermärchen) by Wolkentanz II which is successful, in the meantime, in the stable of Sissy Max-Theurer up to Grand Prix level. The mare Weltina by Weltmeyer was honored for her accomplishment in sports. Actually one brother of Ribana is presented in the Hanoverian auction collection.
